Twice Translated is a collaborative project with myself, Carolyn, and my colleague and friend Catherine Kniveton from CK Therapy.

We’re two friends, colleagues & psychotherapists with a shared passion for helping people to feel truly heard and understood, especially those who may have never felt understood before.

Together, we’ve created Twice Translated, a new venture where we combine our distinct therapeutic approaches, professional and personal experiences, all with a single goal: to help people from all walks of life feel seen, valued, and supported in expressing what’s going on in their internal world.

In each episode, we’ll discuss psychotherapy theories, research, neuroscience, fictitious case studies from the therapy room, and personal experiences. Our aim is to offer a well-rounded perspective on how to navigate these important conversations, providing both practical tools and deeper understanding.

Our first podcast series is especially close to our hearts, as it explores a topic that resonates deeply with us both.

In this series, we’ll focus on bridging the gap between an autistic and non-autistic perspective.

We hope our conversations will provide insights that help those who are close to, or in relationships with, autistic individuals communicate more effectively and with greater empathy for both sides of the experience.
